Dr. Anjan Goswami is a distinguished poultry industry leader, entrepreneur, and academic with over two decades of experience across the global animal protein value chain. With a PhD in Operations Management from ISB Hyderabad, an MBA from IIM Bangalore, and a foundation in veterinary science, he brings a rare fusion of scientific rigour, strategic thinking, and execution-centric leadership.

A serial entrepreneur and enterprise builder, Dr Goswami has founded and scaled integrated poultry businesses and digital Agri-platforms, including Utpan and Khadkeshwara Farms & Foods Pvt Ltd, creating high-impact, capital-efficient models that drive productivity, profitability, and farmer-centric value at scale. His work is deeply rooted in execution, designing systems that translate strategy into consistent on-ground performance across complex, distributed farming ecosystems.

His doctoral research on execution governance and behavioural operations positions him at the forefront of integrating digital intelligence with real-world farm operations. His research work is being published in an FT50 journal—globally recognised as the top 50 most prestigious and rigorously reviewed academic journals in business and management, reflecting the depth and global relevance of his work. He has also authored articles and case studies featured in Harvard Business Review and leading academic platforms such as the NSB Library, contributing to management education and practice.

As a visiting faculty at leading business schools, he teaches entrepreneurship, strategy, and operational excellence, combining venture-building experience with cutting-edge research.
